About Sim to Grid

Thirty years in motorsport, pointed at one thing: getting drivers from the simulator to the grid.

The name is the method

Motorsport has a bad habit of selling seat time as if seat time alone makes you faster. It doesn't. Laps without feedback just make your bad habits permanent.

We built Sim to Grid around a sequence that actually works: learn it on the simulator, where mistakes are free and the data is clean. Then take it to the track, where it counts.

That's why we run a professional rig — not a gaming chair — in our Stuart shop. It's built by our partner Academy Sim Racing. We don't build them; we drive them, rent them and coach on them every day. If you want one of your own, they're the people to talk to.

Who we work with

  • Six-year-olds in their first kart, and their nervous parents
  • Track day drivers who want to stop being the slow one in the run group
  • Club racers chasing a championship
  • Professional drivers preparing for a specific weekend

What we'll tell you honestly

If you're not ready for a race car, we'll say so. If your setup is unsafe, we'll say so before we talk about lap time. If we don't think we can make you quicker, we'll tell you that too — and probably point you at someone who can.

Want the rig in your own garage?

We rent and coach — we don't build. Our partner Academy Sim Racing builds the professional rig we run, for homes, teams, academies and commercial venues. Drive one here first, then go spec yours.
